Self catering holiday accommodation in North Cornwall for up to 6 people
Seaways is all on one storey and is entered off the courtyard into the kitchen-diner. It is the most spacious property in Gullrock, providing generously for six people in 1 double and 2 twin bedded rooms. It is fully heated with night storage heaters, and extra electric fires supplement the storage heating, if needed. Seaways has been individually decorated, furnished, and equipped as a proper home, to combine modern standards of facilities with good old fashioned comforts.
Living Room: Comfortable seating for all occupants. 42 inch Full HD TV with Freeview HD, Freeview HD twin tuner PVR and Blu-ray/DVD player.
Bedrooms: All bedrooms have a vanity basin, and all beds have duck down continental quilt and pillows. All double beds are 4ft 6ins wide, and all single beds are 3ft wide.
Kitchen: Electric cooker. Fridge-freezer. Dish-washer. Washing Machine. Microwave. 4 slice Toaster. Filter coffee maker. Cutlery and crockery for 12. An Alexa personal assistant with Amazon unlimited music is also provided. A comprehensive range of saucepans, frying pan, poacher, baking and roasting tins and dishes, cooking tools and utensils. Electric whisk. Automatic electric kettle. Iron and ironing board. Vacuum cleaner. Torch.
Bathroom: This has a corner bath with shower over, hand basin and toilet. The bath and shower areas are fully tiled with attractive ceramic picture tiles. Fluffy non-slip bathroom mats are provided.
Computer with Internet Access: There is a Windows 10 professional computer accessing my broadband network, with typically 35Mbps download speed and 6Mbps upload speed. The 24” Full HD monitor has an HDMI input for connecting suitable games consoles. A multi-function mono laser printer, which doubles as a photocopier, is also provided. Visitors with their own laptop, tablet or smartphones etc. will be able to access the wi-fi network.
Book, maps and games: There are Ordnance Survey maps at 1:50,000 covering all Cornwall, and at 1:25,000 of the local coastline. There is a selection of guidebooks, as well as games such as cards, monopoly, scrabble, chess and draughts, and jigsaw puzzles.
General Information
Parking: Seaways has a parking space for one car in our car park.
Pets welcome: We offer dog friendly holiday accommodation and visiting pets with responsible owners are always most welcome. Please do not leave animals unsupervised within the grounds, or the cottages, and owners are expected to attend immediately to any accidental fouling. Most beaches in North Cornwall, including Port Gaverne, have no restrictions on dogs, or have part of the beach available for families with dogs.
Arrival and departure: Bookings are from 4pm on the day of arrival to 10am on the day of departure.
Number in Party: Accommodation is limited to the number of persons for whom the booking is made, and the maximum number, including children, in the cottage must not, in any circumstances, exceed six.
Bed Linen and Towels: These are not provided, and visitors must bring their own.
Shopping: The local Co-op store in Port Isaac is open every day (including Sundays) until 10pm.
Mobile Phone Coverage: There is a local transmitter covering Port Gaverne giving a 4G signal for BT, EE, T-Mobile, and Three customers. Other networks can be accessed once you are out of the valley.
